Success- well, sort of.

I was able to get another chapter of my Moonlight fan fic posted yesterday! Man of Subtance Ch. 18! But I have yet to kick myself in the hinder and accomplish anything on Margarita Bay. I know where I need to take it, and think I have a road map of how to get there, but it just doesn't seem to want to cooperate. Hopefully an hour or two of working on it today will help.

This week...

I have had work almost every day this week- which has been a God send. But that has had me behind in my school work, which means extra work for me when I'm home, and a very hyper pup on my hands. But I was very proud of myself on Sunday- I finally managed to post a fan fic that I had meant to post a week before. I write fan fic based on the former CBS series Moonlight and this story is a long- now 17 chapter- story that tells the story of Josef, a 400 odd year old vampire who is the best friend of the main character, Mick. I have been working on this story for months now- trying to post a chapter every week while I'm in class. Last summer I was writing a chapter a day of another series (which ended at 110 chapters!!!), but the muses have been stubborn lately. Feeding them chocolate helps, but not always enough. I managed to post a couple of shorts while I was on Christmas break, but not nearly as much as I'd hoped.

Introducing... myself.

Who knew that being a graduate student could be interesting? Well... yeah, it's not. Mostly it's about trying to keep up with the massive piles of homework and managing to substitute teach whenever I get the chance so that I can survive, while keeping my spoiled Lab mix reasonably happy with her lot in life.

While I am in school, I am also trying to finish my first novel, and I will be using this, as well as the blog on my webpage-http://jenniferstclair.webs.com/- to keep me honest and moving forward. I hope to update regularly and document how the novel is coming along. As of today, it has 60 762 words, and I will be keeping the total updated as I post here.
